If you are like me, exercising can be fun at times but mostly it's a chore. You might be happy to know that the American Diabetes Association recommends that you only need 150 minutes per week of aerobic exercise to maintain health. If you break that down it's roughly 30 minutes 5 days a week and that 30 minutes can be further broken down into 2 - 15 minute segments. For most, this is doable and even easy to accomplish. Find something you are willing to do, like walking, running, swimming, dancing, cycling or doing chair exercises if that works better for you. Whatever your plan - write it down, log it on your phone, use a Fit bit to make it a reality. You might be surprised, like many that I have coached, that this is one goal that you just might be able to keep!
