Option 1: The Authors’ offer a 4-part comprehensive educational series based on the dietary principles of the Mediterranean food pyramid. The series builds a strong foundation of knowledge in healthier lifestyle choices and paints a clear picture of the principles of healthy eating and meal planning. “Beyond the Plate” takes a holistic approach to lifestyle changes and the role the Mediterranean Diet plays in reducing risks for developing chronic conditions. Each participant receives a copy of the book to utilize during the series and for their future reference.
Option 2: As an alternative the Authors’ offer a 1-hour session that highlights some of the major topics presented in “Beyond the Plate” and focuses on the health benefits of the Mediterranean Food Pyramid and principles of healthy eating. The session discusses the risks for developing chronic conditions and the role the Mediterranean Diet plays in reducing health risks. Each participant receives a copy of the book to utilize during the session and for their future reference.
